The content of this seminar is aimed at people who are completing IT training, such as IT specialists, business IT specialists or IT business people. I like to divide this seminar into 2 parts. In the first part, I give a basic and detailed overview of database theory, which includes the topics of database models, database design and normalisation.

In the second part of the seminar "SQL Basics and Database Development", the participants use this knowledge together with me to create databases with SQL, to learn how to handle tables and data and to carry out the different work with keys and indices, queries, joins and views. In the further course, the seminar participants learn e.g. user rights and transactions, create stored procedures and learn how to monitor a database with triggers. The training content and focus can be determined in the seminar and, if necessary, directly applied to concrete examples in professional practice.
