The Swiss are living up to their reputation as better Germans and better Europeans. They are allowed to do what the rest of Europe forbids them to do - vote! The canon of professional socialists in Brussels and Strasbourg official castles would shout down in "mezzo-forte-forte" any initiative of a referendum or even (oh devil - So Weiche!) plebiscite. Anything that does not conform to the European claustrophobic worldview is not even allowed to be discussed. In this respect, Brussels resembles the methods of the medieval Inquisition.
Stealing, begging, and doing something!
The Swiss get to vote on the Unconditional Basic Income and thus choose your own socialist experiments. That's nice! The experiment, on the other hand, would not be! The initiators of the Swiss referendum basically propose a monthly sum of 2,500 francs - the equivalent of about 1,500 euros in the "big canton" of Germany. The rhetorical vocabulary of advocacy is part of the usual socialist propaganda. Wouldn't it be nice if you could do THIS, and how great would THAT be, and then please also imagine THIS.... Yes - the world could be so flowery, sweet and cotton wool - if only we had a little more socialism. The campaigners are omitting an important but momentous detail, humans can only get food, money and property in three ways: stealing, begging and doing something! The unconditional basic income corresponds to the "stealing and begging" variant. Above all, however, it robs the recipients of the supposed charitable "achievement" of human dignity and pride, because only when people independently master your life, you experience pride and dignity. The scientific evidence for this simple connection is clear.
Socialist Bullshit
Unconditional basic income - this real-socialist bullshit smells so unpleasantly of economic ignorance and necrophiliac unworldliness. There is no service without consideration! Never, nowhere and nowhere! Everything has its price - ALWAYS! Those who have not grasped this, have not grasped life! As a rule, these are socialists and communists in the red AND brown variety! Stupidly, many still believe that Red Socialism was "somehow better" and that Brown Socialism "has nothing in common with THE real Socialism". The price for the socialist horror experiments were in the last century at least 270 million dead who had to die in the name of "socialist justice" worldwide.
Also the "unconditional basic income" has a price. The only question is, how high is this price and who is willing to pay this price for how long!
